Isidre Castells’ Catalunya en Petit, Barcelona
In May 2026, Intuit invites members on a once-in-a-lifetime exploration of some of Spain’s most wondrous art environments and visionary spaces. Designed especially for lovers of self-taught art, this immersive 10-day journey winds through Catalonia, Menorca and Valencia—offering unparalleled access to remarkable creators, awe-inspiring architecture and the region’s vibrant culture.
Your adventure begins in Barcelona, where Gaudí’s iconic Sagrada Familia—still evolving a century after the architect’s death—sets the tone for a trip devoted to artistic imagination without limits. Members will visit Isidre Castells’ Catalunya en Petit before venturing into Catalonia’s countryside to experience hidden gems such as Manuel Ollés’ art environment in Vidreres, Josep Almar’s Museu del Ratpenat and Pascual Zapater’s visionary site in Piera. Throughout the journey, private coaches, expert guidance and time for independent exploration make each day effortless and engaging.
Included in our journey will be a visit to the small city of Figueres for an intimate encounter with Salvador Dalí’s world-famous museum, followed by seaside evenings in San Feliu de Guíxols complete with local hospitality and regional cuisine. A flight to Menorca opens new horizons, including visits to mesmerizing environments by Pere Bagur, Nicolas Cabrisas and Mateu Ametller, all set against the island’s serene landscapes.
The final days bring members to Valencia and Castellón, where they will discover the expressive worlds of Rhéa Marmentini, Mariano Ros and Peter Buch. With stops at traditional restaurants, Catalan wine tastings, coastal towns, mountain vistas and architectural marvels, the itinerary balances cultural depth with moments of rest, camaraderie, and delight.
This thoughtfully curated trip reflects the heart of Intuit’s mission, celebrating the ingenuity, originality, and humanity of self-taught artists. Members will return home with new friendships, unforgettable experiences, and a deeper appreciation for the power of creative vision.
