Intuit's Robert A. Roth Study Center contains an extensive and growing collection of books, catalogues, periodicals, slides, photographs, videotapes, and other materials. With an emphasis on the scholarship of self-taught and outsider art, the study center is a unique research resource in Chicago and the region. he materials have been appropriately catalogued by graduate art history students and the center is currently used by local high school, college, and post-graduate students working on research papers or dissertations, and by scholars from beyond Chicago. Professors in sociology, art history, cultural studies, and studio art departments regularly consult materials for use in seminars.
In 2006 we will complete construction on an expanded, ground-level study center that will provide patrons with improved research facilities and greater access to Intuit's expanding collection of books and other research materials.
